I. Performance of FAS-pulp bleaching agent:

As an exceptional pulp blenching agent, FAS could be used for reducing and bleaching. It is suitable for the bleaching of deinked pulp for wasted paper;

It is relatively stable with oxygen in the air, and could bleach the pulp of current equipment;

With the feature of high reduction potential and exceptional stability performance, it is suitable for continuous bleaching under high temperature;

The material is environmental-friendly, could meet the environmental protection requirements, and will not add any load from wasted water pollution,

II. Technical indicators of FAS-pulp bleaching agent

Appearance: white crystal powder

Content: ≥ 99.0%

Water content: ≤ 0.05%

Fe content: ≤10PPM

III. Using method of FAS-pulp bleaching agent

Add water solution prepared with FAS-pulp bleaching agent into the paper pulp to bleach the pulp under alkaline condition. The dosage of the agent depends on the nature of the paper pulp. Generally, the dosage is from 0.3% to 0.6% for one ton of paper pulp.

General technological process of FAS-pulp bleaching agent:

1. FAS dosage: 0.5%

2. Dosage of NaOH: NaOH:FAS=1:2 (mass ratio)

3. pH value: 8.8～ 9.0

4. Bleaching time and temperature: at the temperature of 80℃, the shortest effective bleaching time is 30 minutes. Generally, low bleaching temperature may be compensated by extending the bleaching time.
