As an exceptional pulp blenching agent, FAS could be used for reducing and bleaching, and it is suitable for the bleaching of deinked pulp for wasted paper. It is relatively stable with oxygen in the air, and could bleach the pulp under the established concentration of the equipment. By virtue of its high reduction potential and excellent stability, FAS-pulp bleaching agent is particularly suitable for continuous bleaching applications under high temperature. The product could completely meet the environmental protection requirements. It is environmental-friendly and will not lead to any pollution load from waste water.

It is in the form of white odorless crystal powder, and it is a stable compound that has neither oxidation nor reduction property. The melting point is about 126℃. After being heated to the level about 100℃, however, it will decompose gradually and generate into SO2 at the temperature of 110℃. Under continued heating, it will decompose into urea and sulphurous acid. At the 20℃, its solubility in 1L water is 26.7g. Its water solution is acidic. The material is not soluble to ether and benzene. Under the function of alkali, it could decompose into urea and sodium sulfite.

Precautions:

Operation Precautions: Closed operation, and enhanced ventilation. Operation personnel shall pass professional training programs and strictly observe the operation procedure. Operators are recommended to wear hood type electric air supply filter dust respirator, rubberized fabric toxicity-proof clothing, neoprene gloves, etc. Keep away from fire and heat. No smoking in workplace. Keep away from flammable and combustible materials. Avoid the generation of dust. Avoid contacting with reducing agent and acid materials. Handle with care in the loading and unloading process to prevent damage of package and containers. Avoid vibration, impact and friction. Arrange fire equipment with corresponding variety and quantity, and emergency treatment measures for leakage. Thoroughly remove residual harmful material in containers.

Precautions for storage: the product is packed into fiber drums. The inner surface of the drum shall be PVC bag or moisture-proof paper. The product shall not be stored together with other chemicals. Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat. The temperature of the warehouse shall be no greater than 30℃, and the relative humidity shall be no greater than 80%. Packaged should be completed sealed, and product shall not in contact with air. The product shall be stored separately with oxidizing agent, alcohol, acid materials and flammable (combustible) materials. Mixed storage is highly prohibited. The product shall not be stored in massive amount or stored for long time. The storage area shall have appropriate material to contain leaked materials.
